Coach Bell did a wonderful job with his airplane project to teach the Scientific Methods. Students created their own airplanes, constructed, & tested their own hypotheses, gave explanations if they are valid or invalid after flying the planes, recorded/analyzed their own data, and then implemented what they learned through experimentation to create their perfect plane for the final competition! This was a great example of a higher-order thinking project that allowed facilitation by Coach Bell and an example of what true learning is all about!
